This is an all-level adult ceramics class focusing on the basics of wheel throwing and hand building. Students will walk away with a solid understanding of the basic characteristics of clay, form building, and glazing.
The price includes clay, glazes and 8 sessions of open studio for practice on Wednesdays from 5pm-9pm.
Firings Fee: 5 cents per cubic inch (that includes bisque and glaze firing).
About the Instructor: Larisa Daiga is an experimental ceramist and video artist working in New York City. Her creative focus is on process, movement, interaction and pushing the boundaries of ceramics as a material. She has participated in Adhocracy at the New Museum and the Film Room at the British Ceramics Biennial amongst other exhibitions internationally. Larisa Daiga received her Master in Ceramics at Royal College of Art, London, England, UK
Refund Policy: Refund and transfer requests must be made via mail or in person one week prior to start of the class. Registration receipts are required and there is a $35 processing fee for all refunds and transfers.
